The last time Erin stayed at my house overnight she had expected to return home before morning and hadn’t packed any toiltries. Trying to be a polite hostess in the morning I said, “I can make some deodorant for you, I have a recipe.”
She declined, and gave me a weird look.
But raised eyebrows aside, Joel and I are enjoying my homemade deodorant for several reasons
1. No aluminum, which studies have linked to breast cancer. This deodorant is totally natural.
2. It’s actually effective, as opposed to the multiple natural deodorants from the store.
3. I like the consistency better than store-bought deodorant.
4. It’s cheaper than aforementioned ineffective deodorant.
5. It’s easy to make.
6. I could play with it and make it scented, but haven’t.

I’m just begining to learn about the many uses of coconut oil. I plan on trying it as a hair product soon, I’ll let you know how it goes!
